Help Your Community. Meet New People. Be a Volunteer.

If you are looking for a way to make a difference, have fun and meet new people in an exciting healthcare setting, then join our volunteer team at University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) and our clinics around town. UMC has more than 200 dedicated volunteers who make a lasting impact on our patients and guests.

As a volunteer you will acquire new skill sets, gain new experiences and help us deliver exceptional care and service to our patients and guests.

When you become a volunteer at UMC, you join a team of caring professionals whose mission is to enhance the health and wellness of the El Paso community by making high quality, affordable healthcare services accessible to all.

Our Volunteers are dedicated men and women from different backgrounds, who share a common desire to help others. In addition to helping others, volunteers have the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills, gain new insights, interact with patients and families, and achieve a sense of accomplishment.
