UMC To Open Online Registration At 6 P.M. Tuesday For First-Dose Vaccination Appointments (2nd Dose Moderna Vaccines Have Arrived)

University Medical Center of El Paso announces that it is opening registration on its website at 6 p.m. today to accommodate 5,000 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
UMC also announces it will open its special Super Seniors registration portal (for those 75 and older) and telephone (for those 75 and older)at open 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25. There will be 2,500 appointments for Super Seniors available online, and there will be 1,000 Super Senior appointments available via special telephone appointment line at 200-2700.
Regarding pending shipment of the Moderna 2nd doses, UMC has received its anticipated shipment of vaccine. UMC will be reaching out to confirm appointments for Moderna 2nd dose recipients. All Pfizer 2nd doses will continue as scheduled.
Finally, UMC’s community clinics will continue to administer vaccines to Super Seniors and Category 1b patients 65 and older existing in the UMC patient database as well as to underserved areas throughout El Paso County.
