UMC’s family of services is growing with the addition of the new UMC Surgical Hospital. 

The UMC Surgical Hospital is here to provide the community with exceptional surgical care in the fastest growing part of the city.

Located at 1416 George Dieter, this fully-renovated facility in east El Paso offers 40 additional beds for inpatient and outpatient procedures, as well as six operating rooms and 10 private pre-op rooms.

The UMC Surgical Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, to include the Stryker Mako Robot, Da Vinci XI Robot, two X-Ray rooms and MRI and CT Imaging.

Additionally, the 75,000 sq. ft. facility includes a cath lab and two endoscopy procedure rooms, as well as a radiology department and inpatient pharmacy to provide east El Paso with the highest quality of care.

  Medical services offered at this hospital cover orthopedics, spine care, general        surgeries, ENT services, GYN surgery, gastrointestinal care, cardiac cath      lab, imaging services and emergency services.

  The new UMC Surgical Hospital will allow UMC to provide surgical care at a      convenient location for patients who will no longer have to travel to the main campus for surgeries.

Patients and physicians also have access to accessible parking.
