Pharmacy Residency Programs
University Medical Center and its clinics are proud to serve as teaching sites. UMC is fostering the advancement of clinical pharmacy through education and training of students and postgraduate trainees.
Through a partnership with UTEP’s School of Pharmacy, UMC offers the following two pharmacy residency programs:
- UMC PGY1 Pharmacy Practice
- UMC PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy
Within UMC’s PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program, residents are able to work in a hospital setting to obtain a challenging, well-rounded training experience.
UMC’s PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Program centers toward developing each resident into an innovative community-based pharmacist practitioner with diverse skills, patient care, clinical, leadership, and professional skills through outpatient pharmacy and clinic services at our various clinics.
Locations include:
University Medical Center - Main
Outpatient Clinics
