Board of Managers

The Board of Managers of the El Paso County Hospital District serve without compensation as policy setters for University Medical Center of El Paso and its outpatient facilities. They are appointed to their posts by El Paso’s County Judge and Commissioners to be policy setters for University Medical Center of El Paso and its outpatient facilities. The Board of Managers are also responsible for hiring the hospital's Chief Executive Officer and have oversight responsibility for El Paso Health, the District’s HMO. The seven-member panel is appointed by members of the El Paso County Commissioners Court. They serve three-year terms.

Administration

The Administrative Staff oversee the day-to-day operations at UMC. Each member of our administrative team is responsible for directing and managing their respective departments.

Medical Staff Officers

Medical Staff Officers are responsible for the quality and implementation of services within each of their departments.
