UMC (Student) Affiliation Program

Welcome to UMC’s Affiliation Program!

The Affiliation Department oversees the following programs:

• Affiliated Educational Programs for Clinical Rotations
• Shadowing of Physicians
• Shadowing of Non-Physicians
• PULL-OPP Program (For UMC Associates Only).

We will help guide you in obtaining clinical, observational, and field experience within the El Paso County Hospital District EPCHD d/b/a UMC facilities. 

We hope you find your student experience with the EPCHD beneficial to your personal and professional growth.  

*All clinical rotations or field experiences for both clinical and non-clinical, as well as shadowing, must be first requested through the Affiliation Program.

Affiliated Institutions and Programs:

UMC will only accept students from an affiliated institution and program.

Placement is coordinated through educational institutions.
