UMC’s Pharmacy Department offers both inpatient and outpatient services with a complete admixture and unit dose drug distribution program to include Satellite ICU Pharmacy, Decentralized Pharmacy Services, and Home Infusion Services.

The Pharmacy Department is committed to improving the quality of drug therapy through clinical assistance to the medical staff, stafn, Nursing, research and patient education. Pharmacists monitor patients' drug therapy in order to identify potential or actual drug-related problems. A positive patient outcome is desired and options for cost-effective drug therapy.

UMC's Inpatient Pharmacy is located on the lower level of the Hospital at 4815 Alameda. The main campus Outpatient Pharmacy is located on the first floor of UMC's Annex Building, directly behind the UMC at 4824 Alberta. Outpatient pharmacy Services are available at UMC Pharmacy locations throughout El Paso and the surrounding areas.
