Why Residency? From early on, I knew that pursuing a residency was essential to expanding my clinical expertise. My rotations at UMC during pharmacy school solidified my belief that the mentorship and guidance from the preceptors at UMC of El Paso would be pivotal in shaping my future as a clinical pharmacist. I am eager to dive into the areas that interest me, yet remain open to exploring all facets of the field. With UMC offering a variety of rotations, I am confident I will develop a well-rounded foundation in pharmacy. My goal is to discover my true calling in pharmacy during my PGY1 year, all while providing exceptional care to the community that raised me.
