Shadowing

University Medical Center of El Paso Shadowing Program is for aspiring healthcare professional to shadow a healthcare professional in their day to day duties. Shadowing is a voluntary experience does not constitute a clinical rotation or training leading to licensure or certification. Shadowing experience does not provide patient care.

• Shadowing an allied health professional is limited up to 40 hours.
• Shadowing a physician is limited up to one semester.
